Mount Olive Baptist Church Of Sharpsburg Supports Local Community Organizations Like The Batch Foundation’s Healthy Habits.
Healthy Habits is a non profit organization equipping seniors with lifelong healthy habits and support through wellness and mobility programs. This organization works to strengthen culture and community by promoting healthy habits through accessible exercise, joyful movements and engaging activities.
SALVATION BY FAITH
The Bible teaches that salvation is a gift received through faith in Jesus Christ, not by personal works or merit. Key verses include Ephesians 2:8-9, which states that “it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God,” and John 3:16, which says that “whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”. Other verses emphasize believing in the Lord Jesus for salvation, such as Acts 16:31.
